NXP offers BlueStreak™ microcontroller line
|
|
NXP Semiconductors’ BlueStreak™ microcontroller portfolio includes the LH7A400 and LH7A404 families of ARM9-based microcontrollers featuring LCD controllers. |
The LH7Axxx families feature ARM9 cores and
add highly-desired functionality like USB and
MMC. They are built around a 32-bit ARM922T
core with 8kbyte of instruction-cache, 8kbyte of
data-cache, and 80kbyte of framebuffer memory.
The LCD controller supports STN, CSTN,
TFT, and AD-TFT displays of 1024 x 768 and
64k colours. These devices are designed for
a wide range of applications including
industrial control, smart appliances and PDAs.
The 32-bit LH75xxx series utilises the
ARM7TDMI core with 32kbyte of on-chip
SRAM, colour and greyscale LCD controller,
three UARTs, SPI, CAN 2.0B, three 16-bit
counter/timers, A/D converter, watchdog
timer, and low voltage detector. They are
an excellent solution for low-cost
designs that require an integrated LCD
control. Applications include GPS, PDA,
printers/copiers, security control panels,
and smart appliances.
The LH79xxx series combines a 32-bit ARM720T
core with 8kbyte cache, MMU, colour LCD
controller, and 32kbyte SRAM. Also included are a
number of enhanced peripherals such as a DMA
controller, serial and parallel interfaces, infrared
support, counter/timers, real-time clock, watchdog
timer, pulse width modulators, and an on-chip
phase-lock loop.

The Bluestreak™ range includes microcontrollers with built-in LCD controllers.
