Automotive-qualified op-amp guarantees operation down to 0.9V
|
|
ON Semiconductor has introduced the NCV2001SN2T1G, an operational amplifier that is guaranteed fully operational at 0.9V and features rail-to-rail common-mode input-voltage range, along with rail-to-rail output-drive capability. |
ON Semiconductor has achieved this combination
of features through a modified CMOS process and
an innovative input topology.
By operating at low voltages, the
NCV2001SN2T1G can be used directly with
single-cell NiCd and MiMH batteries, to serve
a variety of portable and battery-powered
applications. The NCV2001 is also qualified
for automotive applications.
The SOT23-5 package has a footprint of
3mm x 3mm and a profile of 1.1mm,
allowing designers to save board space as
well as benefiting from a low mounted
height. Additional features include no output
phase-reversal with overdriven inputs,
trimmed input-offset voltage of 0.5mV,
extremely low input
bias current of 40pA,
and unity-gain
bandwidth
of 1.4MHz at 5.0V.
The NCS2001 is a
non-automotivegrade
version
suitable for portable
consumer and
industrial products.
