HD and SD video amplifiers eliminate external circuitry
|
|
ON Semiconductor has launched high-performance video amplifiers for High-Definition (HD) and Standard-Definition (SD) applications. |
Each device contains three amplifier
channels featuring a 6th-order Butterworth
reconstruction filter to simplify external
circuitry and enhance response at standard
frequencies.
The NCS2563 HD amplifier has a 3dB
bandwidth of 32MHz, while the NCS2553 has
a 3dB bandwidth of 8MHz for use in SD
systems.
Both devices feature internal transparent
clamps for AC-coupled signals, as well as
integrated gain-setting resistors, to reduce
the need for external components in the
video circuit. The NCS2563 also provides an
integrated level shifter. Both devices support
AC- or DC-coupled outputs of 150Ω
impedance.
