Ferrite-core inductors take DC resistance to new lows

Vishay has introduced the IFLP-4040DZ-01 series of high-current inductors,meeting the industry-standard 4040 footprint but featuring 20% lower DCResistance (DCR) than other inductors.

In addition, these shielded devices are the first surface-mount, low-profile inductors to offer ±3% DCR tolerance, which improves performance in current-sensing applications.

A ferrite core ensures high operating efficiency for low power-drain in battery-driven systems, as well as low core-loss increase over time and reliable long-term performance.

Rated saturation currents range from 20A to 36A, and inductance values from 0.34µH to 0.62µH. The standard inductance tolerance is ±20%.
