Low-cost S08 architecture available for 2.7V to 5.5V applications
for 2.7V to 5.5V applications
The MC9S08SH MCUs are built using the 9S08 low-power architecture, but operate across a voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V to support new applications in the industrial, small appliance and white goods markets.
MC9S08SH devices offer a powerful feature set, with up to 8kbytes of Flash and 512bytes of RAM. An internal clock source module provides an accurate on-chip clock source, saves cost by eliminating the need for external crystal or oscillator components, and generates a bus speed of up to 20MHz.
A host of communication peripherals including SCI, SPI and I2C are on-chip, along with a range of system security features including low-voltage detection, power-on reset, watchdog and security features for both Flash and RAM. The MC9S08SHx family is supported in a range of package options; 8SOIC, 16TSSOP, 20TSSOP, 20PDIP and 24QFN.
