Multi-conductor jumpers for secure and speedy interconnects

Tyco Electronics’ Flexstrip jumpers are secure, convenient and versatile board-to-board interconnects displaying superior flexibility compared to round conductor cable. This low-cost solution also saves space and is quick to install, without requiring wire stripping, cutting to length or solder preparation.

In applications such as building controllers or safety alarm systems, where panels are frequently removed for test or maintenance purposes, Flexstrip provides a reliable, long-lasting connection.

Flexstrips are multi-conductor jumper strips featuring a round contact region for easy insertion and soldering, and a flat-rolled conductor to withstand harsh vibration and flexing. A choice of four insulation materials - nomex, polyester, kapton or teflon - enables optimal cost-versusperformance in applications ranging from generalpurpose use to environments where high temperature, high humidity or changing climatic conditions are expected.

A variety of standard pitches are available, including 1.00mm, 1.25mm, 1.9mm and 2.0mm. Jumper widths can range from 2 to 70 conductors, and standard or custom configurations may be specified. Available lengths range from 12.7mm to 863.6mm in 2.54mm increments.
