Robust power relays serve security and control applications

Recently upgraded by Tyco Electronics is a miniature power PCB relay designed for domestic appliances, heating and building control as well as measurement and control applications.

Featuring a single-contact current rating of 10A, with up to 400V AC switching voltage and 2500V AC breaking capacity, T7N and T7N-WG power relays are available with 1CO or 1NO contact configurations.

Both T7N and T7N-WG power relays are available as either flux-proof or wash-tight versions and benefit from a sensitive 360mW coil. The T7N-WG meets the IEC60335-1 requirements for white goods applications and features a tracking resistance of CTI 325.

Further technical details of the T7N and T7N-WG PCB power relays include an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and a typical operate / release time of 10/5 ms. Vibration resistance is greater than 14 g for NO contact and 8 g for NC contact at 30 to 400Hz.
