PCS duplexer minimises consumption and improves sensitivity
Leveraging its Film Bulk Acoustic Resonator (FBAR)
technology, Avago’s 4th-generation PCS duplexer
delivers 2.7dB maximum transmit band insertion loss to
significantly lower power consumption. A maximum
receive band insertion loss of 3.2dB also enables
excellent receiver sensitivity.
The ACMD-7403 is nearly 40% smaller than previousgeneration
products, and has been designed for
CDMA/UMTS mobile phone, data card, modem and
femtocell applications. Additionally, the ACMD-7403
enhances the sensitivity and dynamic range of CDMA
and UMTS receivers by providing more than 52dB
attenuation of the transmitted signal at the receiver input
and more than 44dB rejection of transmit-generated
noise in the receive band.
License store makes ColdFire® accessible
Freescale Semiconductor is offering its 32-bit V1 ColdFire
core to the embedded community through IPextreme's
Core Store. Using the Core Store site, customers can
browse and license ColdFire MCU cores with a few clicks.
This enables licensing of ColdFire cores at a fraction of
traditional licensing costs.
The V1 ColdFire core is designed for entry-level 32-bit
applications, and is a simplified version of the V2 ColdFire
core. By offering the V1 ColdFire core to developers at the
$10K threshold, Freescale and IPextreme are providing a
cost-effective entry point to the ColdFire architecture.
600V driver IC includes PFC channel
The IRS26302D 600V three-phase gate driver IC features a
seventh gate drive channel for a Power Factor Correction
(PFC) switch or inverter brake, making it ideal for threephase
inverter applications with space limitations.
This IC delivers many protection features, including
negative source voltage immunity circuitry to withstand
large transients seen during high-current switching and
short-circuit conditions. The IRS26302D also integrates
power MOSFET/IGBT gate drivers with three high-side
and three low-side referenced output channels to
provide 200mA/350mA drive current at up to 20V MOS
gate-drive capability, operating up to 600V.
200V power-amplifier stages added to high-fidelity audio family
National Semiconductor has extended its high-fidelity
LME™ audio amplifier family with the introduction of a
pair of 200V mono audio power amplifier input stages.
These highly-integrated, single-chip devices offer low
distortion performance and reduce design time.
The LME49811 and LME49830 offer scalable output
power based on supply voltage and output device
count. With these devices, designers can use the same
base circuit design to create multiple power-level
solutions up to 1kW, just by scaling the output stage
devices to accommodate more power dissipation and
current drive.
