PIN diode performs with minimum distortion
The HSMP-386J PIN diode from Avago
Technologies performs RF
transmit/receive switching
for high-power signals up
to 40dBm, and has low
insertion loss and high
isolation to minimise
distortion of the RF signal.
The HSMP-386J also has low DC
bias-current requirements, and is
constructed using multiple
parallel dies to minimise both
series resistance and leakage
current. This allows fast
switching while also simplifying
design of the switching circuit.
The 8-pin QFN package measures 2mm x
2mm, and is engineered with high thermal
conductivity to optimise power dissipation and
enhance reliability.
