Mid-power LEDs light brighter, run cooler
High-performance LEDs introduced by
Avago Technologies in all popular colours
combine compact sizes, enhanced
package materials, a wide 120° viewing
angle, and long operating lifetime under
severe environmental conditions.
The ASMT-QxBx are Super 0.5W Power PLCC-4
surface-mount LEDs, incorporating package
enhancements to maximise heat dissipation for
higher brightness, superior thermal management
and consistent light output. At the same time,
the new devices meet the established 3.2mm x
2.8mm x 1.9mm PLCC-4 form factor.
The Super 0.5W Power PLCC-4 SMT LEDs are
designed for higher reliability and better
performance, and operate under a wide range
of environmental conditions. The performance
characteristics of these new mid-power LEDs
allow use in demanding applications such as in
automotive lighting, as well as in a wide variety
of electronic signs and signals.
