93% conversion efficiency for 10A applications
The Vishay SiP12201A is an energy-efficient
step-down converter for
high-load applications, capable of
driving up to 10A at 93% efficiency.
The device accepts input voltages in the
4.2V to 26.0V range, and allows the output
voltage to be adjusted up to 20V using a pair
of external resistors. In addition to its high
efficiency, the SiP12201A also integrates
multiple features to minimise part count,
including integrated soft-start, short-circuit
protection, over-voltage protection, Under-Voltage Lockout (UVLO) and thermal
shutdown.
The 10-pin MLP33 package enables a low-cost
solution and features a combined
Frequency-compensation/Shutdown pin to
allow flexible, hardware-based control as
well as a low overall footprint.
