Miniature monolithic inductors are big mobile performers
The Murata LQM2HP series monolithic
chip-coil power inductors measure 2.5mm
x 2.0mm x 1.0mm, allowing
designers to save up to 44%
of board space without
performance degradation
when compared to
wirewound parts.
The new devices are multi-layer
power inductors, which use
Murata’s proprietary ceramic
materials and innovative
inner-electrode design to help
miniaturise power supplies in
end-user products that demand
the best possible performance.
The LQM2HP series is conceived
for DC/DC converter duties in
mobile applications.
Parts are available with inductances
between 0.47µH and 4.7µH. Low DC
resistance also helps designers to minimise
losses and boost efficiency. The maximum
rated current is 1.8A.
