Small-outline MOSFETs deliver low losses at low gate-drive voltage
For applications requiring a low
footprint and threshold voltage with
high thermal performance, Zetex
Semiconductors’ is offering six new
low-voltage MOSFETs in surface-mount
packages, including SO-8,
SOT23 and a leadless package
measuring just 2mm x 2mm.
The ZXMN2F34MA, in a DFN322 package, is
rated to 20V and has on-resistance of 60mΩ
at 4.5V gate-to-source voltage and
120mΩ at 2.5V. The device displays
enhanced thermal performance
compared to larger devices of similar
ratings, with around 40% lower package
thermal resistance enabling cooler
running and improved power density. Its
mounted height of 0.85mm combines
with the small footprint to help
designers save PCB area in space-constrained
power-conversion and
power-management applications.
