Connect using DisplayPort for large-screen, high-definition experience
The JAE DP1 system supports the VESA
DisplayPort specification, enabling
distribution of high-definition digital
video to large monitors up to WQXGA
(2560 x 1600 pixels) resolution.
Engineers can use the DP1 to connect a
high-definition source such as a PC, personal
video recorder or other device to a display
over cable distances up to 15 metres. The
system comprises a shielded, 20-pin, 0.5mm-pitch
connector and corresponding surface-mount
receptacle that has four metal solder
pins for robust assembly onto the PCB. The
receptacle also has a plastic snap-in pin that
enables easy, accurate positioning during
equipment assembly. Cable assemblies are
also available, in standard and latching
formats.
