Wireless-networking module expands freedom of choice

The connectBlue™ OZSPA311 IEEE802.15.4 module is optimised for industrial applications and saves integration effort by re-using the form factor and electrical interface of connectBlue’s proven Bluetooth and WLAN modules.

Using this module, OEMs and system integrators can meet varying customer demands with a minimum of investment.

The OZSPA311 can be embedded with a ZigBee® application layer and/or customer-developed applications. A free ZigBee reference application is available, and can be downloaded onto the module.

Standard Serial Port Adapter (SPA) firmware is included with the module, and can be configured with AT commands using the PC-based connectBlue Toolbox configuration software. The connectBlue Serial Port Adapter application is optimised for high performance and robust behaviour when used in demanding industrial situations. The modules are specified for operation over the industrial and automotive temperature range, -40°C to 85°C, and are individually tested and tuned at manufacture.
