Integrated power-inlet filter keeps the noise down

Tyco Electronics’ new EJT series of power-inlet sockets features integrated filters to achieve high attenuation of noise up to 1GHz.

The sockets address demands for improved noise attenuation at higher frequencies in a compact inlet. Using an IEC 320/C14 input connector, the filters are suitable for applications up to 15A.

The EJT series is flange mounted and offers a choice of 1/4” output terminals or wire leads. Alternatively an IEC 320/C20 connector is available, with a maximum rating of 20A. Offering one of the smallest footprints in the market, easy installation and enhanced EMI shielding, the EJT series is cost effective for many applications.

Compatible with many standard filters, the EJT series also offers normal (EEA) or good (EEB) attenuation at a competitive price-performance ratio.
