manufacturers, which will be featured
at electronica.

pages 9 to 17 will give you a taste of these new
product releases. If you are attending
electronica, this section provides an easy guide,
with stand numbers, to the products chosen by
Future Electronics' technical team as the most
important new releases at the show.
Think Future for problem solving
Future Electronics will be launching its latest
Future-Blox evaluation board on Stand A3.441.
The new LongBow board provides a platform
for fast and easy comparison of different
manufacturers’MCUs (see page 9).
Developed as part of Future’s extensive
Technical Solutions programme, the unique
Future-Blox concept uses a common bus and
interconnection system across multiple boards.
Future’s expertise in real-world design makes
Future-Blox an essential design tool for
evaluating emerging technologies and state-of-the art
components from leading manufacturers.
Lighting the way
Future Lighting Solutions will also be
demonstrating emerging applications for high-brightness
LEDs in functional lighting,
including home and office lighting. The stand
features new downlighters containing 18
LUXEON Rebel LEDs, part of a new wave of
LED-based products designed for area
illumination in the home and office.
A new system for user-controlled tunable
white light from high-brightness LEDs will also
be demonstrated on the Future Lighting
Solutions stand. A touch-sensing user input
module controls the light output from LED
arrays, so that room illumination can be
instantly switched between cool-white, neutral-white
and warm-white light.
