125MHz Microcontroller Built on ARM968 Core
At 125MHz, the LPC292x
series are the fastest
ARM968 microcontrollers
on the market.
The LPC292x series of
microcontrollers uses the
same peripherals as the popular
LPC2000 ARM7 family from NXP,
offering an easy upgrade option for
additional performance in low-cost
embedded systems.
The LPC292x series comes with an
ARM968E-S industry-standard RISC core,
operating at 125MHz and providing high
1.1MIPS/MHz performance with low power
consumption. Additional features include
full-speed USB2.0, dual CAN interfaces and
two LIN masters, 16kB EEPROM, standard
serial buses, and one 5V and two 3V ADCs
that make the LPC292x ideal for high-performance
and communicationheavy
applications. The family
integrates up to 768kB of
embedded Flash
memory, 48kB of
RAM, two 32kB
tightly-coupled
memories, and
motor-control
PWMs.
