High-Voltage Synchronous Buck Control IC Minimises EMI
The MIC2130/1 are high-voltage PWM
synchronous buck controllers. The
new MIC2131 implements a feature
to minimise EMI, which is critical for
systems that need to be compliant
with EMI standards.
Both devices are voltage-mode controllers with a
fast hysteretic control loop employed during fast
line and load transients. The internal gate drivers
are designed to drive high-current MOSFETs.
The MIC2130/1 can produce output voltages
down to 0.7V with input voltages from 8V to
40V and implement fixed-frequency PWM
control. The active anti-shoot-through drive
scheme means a wide range of external
MOSFETs may be used while maintaining
optimum efficiency.
TheMIC2130 andMIC2131 are available in a 16-pin
4mmx 4mmMLF® package, as well as 16-pin
e-TSSOP, with a junction temperature range from
-40 °C to 125 °C.
