Automotive-Qualified LEDs Minimise Thermal Resistance
The VLMx32 power LEDs use a
thermally-enhanced package to cut
thermal resistance down to 290K/W.
This enables high drive currents to
70mA for improved light output.
Vishay’s VLMx32 devices are built on
AllnGaP technology (ESD class 2), offering
amber and yellow high-intensity LEDs with
power dissipation up to 200mW. These
provide a luminous intensity from 1400mcd
to 2850mcd, with dominant wavelengths
from 610nm to 621nm for the amber devices,
and from 585nm to 594nm for the yellow
devices.
All VLMx32 LEDs feature a 60° angle of half-intensity
and a luminous intensity per packing unit
of less than 1.6. Packaged in a PLCC-4, VLMx32
power LEDs are qualified to AEC-Q101 and
categorised for luminous intensity, colour, and
forward voltage.
