EMI Suppression Capacitors Increase Voltage Rating to 310V AC

Most standard EMI suppression film capacitors provide a voltage rating of 275VAC to 305VAC. Vishay has released three new EMI suppression film capacitors with maximum mains voltage increased to 310VAC.

The MKP 339 X2, MKP 3382 X2 and MKP 3362 X2 devices offer designers an increased voltage rating while meeting safety approvals and maintaining the compact dimensions. The devices offer a wide lead-pitch range from 7.5mm to 27.5mm and capacitance values from 1nF to 4.7µF.

Using the latest film technology, and a permissible DC voltage of 630V, the capacitors are optimised for standard 50Hz or 60Hz across-the-line power-supply applications.
