Low-Profile Power Inductors Feature High Current Rating

The NPISxxL series of power inductors features root mean square current ratings up to 7.8A from an 8mm x 8mm x 4mm case size.

NIC Components have achieved these current ratings using a wire-wound construction combined with a ferrite-resin shielding material.

The series is available in 10 case sizes ranging from 3mm x 3mm to 8mm x 8mm, with component heights from 1mm to 4.5mm.

DC resistance values range from 0.006Ω to 4Ω for 0.8µH and 220µH inductors respectively, with an operating temperature range from -25°C to 120°C.
