Programmable Signal Enables Flexible ADC
NXP Semiconductors’ ADC0808S ADC
generates a programmable Complete
Conversion Signal (CCS) that allows both
the delay time and the frequency of the
acquisition clock to be adjusted. This
enables the implementation of
flexible acquisition control
systems.
NXP’s ADC0808S is a
differential, high-speed,
8-bit ADC optimised for
telecommunication transmission-control
systems and tape-drive
applications. The ADC’s clock inputs are
selectable for 1.8V CMOS signals or Low-Voltage
Differential Signals (LVDS).
The data-output signal levels and all static
digital inputs are 1.8V CMOS compatible.
The ADC0808S is supplied in an HTQFP48
package, with a sampling rate of up to 250MHz
and a maximum analogue input
frequency of 560MHz.
