Industrial Ethernet Connectors Supported by PCB Receptacle

Tyco Electronics is offering a PCB-mounted receptacle for industrial Ethernet RJ-45 connectors.

The modular plug and jack connectors offer IP67 sealing and a quick-connect bayonet coupling that meets IEC 61076-3-106 variant 1 specifications. The coupling mechanism offers positive locking for reliable connections in harsh environments. The housings are polarised to prevent mis-mating.

The new connectors use a through-hole mounting, with two plastic legs providing additional mechanical retention before and after soldering. The connectors are threaded for panel mounting with a supplied coupling nut.
