NXP Semiconductors – PCT2075 : Temperature sensor achieves accuracy of ±1°C

The PCT2075 from NXP Semiconductors is a temperature to-digital converter which is accurate to ±1°C over a rangeof -25°C to 100°C.

The device can be configured to work as a thermal watchdog, since it includes an open-drain output which becomes active when the temperature exceeds programmed limits.

The PCT2075 can be configured for different operating modes. It can be set in Normal mode to periodically monitor the ambient temperature, or in Shut-down mode to minimise power consumption.

• Pin-for-pin replacement for LM75 series
• Operating temperature range: -55°C to 125°C
• <1μA supply current in Shut-down mode
