Intersil’s ISL12022M is a low-power Real-Time Clock (RTC) with an embedded 10-bit digital temperature sensor and crystal.
The RTC tracks time with separate registers for hours, minutes, and seconds. The calendar registers track date, month, year and day of the week, and are accurate through to the year 2099, with automatic correction for leap years. It may be used for automatic control of individual or networked lights according to the time and day.
The ISL12022M is supplied as a module which contains the RTC and an embedded 32.768kHz quartz crystal. The calibrated oscillator has less than ±5ppm drift over the full temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
