The STEVAL-ILL015V2 product evaluation board provides a platform for testing and evaluating the LED2472G 24-channel LED driver from STMicroelectronics.

The LED2472G is a 24-bit constant-current LED sink driver with output error detection, suitable for applications such as large-area displays and full-colour display panels. Use of the LED2472G in these applications gives designers the potential to improve the resolution of the output of Red, Green, Blue (RGB) LED arrays and to reduce system cost.

The board includes two LED2472G devices connected to three sets of 16 RGB high-brightness LEDs. It also features an STM32 32-bit microcontroller and an internal high-side oscillator. The board is backed by the STSW-ILL015V2 PC-based graphical user interface for configuring and controlling the operation of the system.

The board is provided with the highly efficient ST1S010 DC-DC switching power supply.
