NXP Semiconductors – 10A Schottky rectifier features ultra-low leakage current

The PMEG100V100ELPD from NXP Semiconductors is a 10A Schottky barrier rectifier which is notable for its ultra-low leakage current.

Part of the Maximum Efficiency General Application (MEGA) family of Schottky barrier rectifiers, the automotive-grade PMEG100V100ELPD comes in a CFP15 (SOT1289) surface-mount plastic package.

Average forward current at an ambient temperature of up to 150°C and a switching frequency of 20kHz is a maximum of 10A. The maximum reverse voltage at a junction temperature of 25°C is rated at 100V, and the maximum reverse current at this temperature is 1μA.

The robust PMEG100V100ELPD can withstand junction temperatures of up to 175°C. Thanks to its clip-bonded package construction featuring a heat-sink, the PMEG100V100ELPD can handle high power. In addition, the device features low thermal resistance of 3K/W from junction to solder point.
