Vishay Intertechnology’s 146 CTI is a series of surface-mount aluminium capacitors which combines low impedance for better filtering with high ripple current for higher reliability. The parts also offer process flexibility, conforming to the rigorous IPC/JEDEC J-STD-020 soldering standard for severe reflow conditions.
The automotive-grade 146 CTI capacitors are available in nine case sizes. All support operation at high temperatures, and feature impedance values as low as 0.035Ω at 100kHz and 20°C. Useful life is rated at up to 6,000 hours at 125°C.
Polarised aluminium electrolytic capacitors with a non-solid, self-healing electrolyte, the 146 CTI parts are ideally suited for filtering, smoothing, buffering, and voltage-decoupling applications.
Vishay also supplies the 146 RTI, a series of radial aluminium electrolytic capacitors which are also AECQ200 qualified, and provide capacitance values from 68μF to 6,800μF.
