The LDL112 low-dropout (LDO) voltage regulator from STMicroelectronics features a very good combination of static and dynamic performance. It can supply a maximum current of 1.2A.

The LDO’s quiescent current is as low as 35μA at no load, helping the user to achieve good efficiency in applications supplying a wide range of load currents.

The LDL112 is equipped with a special reverse-current blocking circuit, which prevents any unwanted current flowing from the output to the input in any operating condition. This feature is useful when the load may be supplied by more than one source, such as a battery, a USB port and a wall adapter.

• Input-voltage range: 1.6V to 5.5V
• 300mV dropout voltage at 1A load
• Compatible with 1μF ceramic output capacitor
