The DMTH4004SPSQ has been designed to meet the requirements of high-power BLDC motor systems over 750W, such as water and fuel pumps. The DMTH4005SPSQ is suited to lower-power BLDC applications, such as auxiliary pumps and heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems.
The MOSFETs are 100% avalanche-tested, ensuring robust performance and the ability to withstand the high pulses of reverse avalanche energy that can be generated by inductive loads. In addition, the thermally efficient PowerDI®5060-8 package enables the MOSFETs to operate safely up to a maximum junction temperature of 175°C.
At a gate-source voltage of 10V, the DMTH4004SPSQ and DMTH4005SPSQ have maximum on-resistance values of 2.7mΩ and 4mΩ, helping to ensure that power losses are kept to a minimum.
