STMicroelectronics – Digital MEMS microphone features high signal-to-noise ratio



STMicroelectronics’ MP34DB02 digital MEMS microphone is omnidirectional and provides a very high Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) for a high-quality audio output.

Consisting of a capacitive sensing element built with ST’s silicon micromachining technology, and an IC interface with stereo capability, it can provide a digital signal externally in a standard Pulse-Density Modulation (PDM) format.

The MP34DB02 has an acoustic overload point of 120dB, and a high 62.6dB SNR, as well as full-scale sensitivity of -26dB.

The MP34DB02 is available in a bottom-port surface-mount package with EMI shielding.
