STMicroelectronics – Three-axis gyroscope provides stable digital output


STMicroelectronics’ A3G4250D is a three-axis angular-rate sensor, or gyroscope, which has a very stable zero-rate level.

It consists of a micro-machined sensing element and a CMOS IC interface which provides the measured angular rate to a microcontroller or other device through a standard SPI digital interface. An I2C-compatible interface is also available.

The A3G4250D has a full scale of ±245 degrees/s, and is capable of measuring rates with a user-selectable bandwidth.
