Based on a 1/3.2”, 2Mpixel CMOS image sensor, the SoC incorporates a microcontroller, a sophisticated image flow processor and a real-time JPEG encoder. The MCU manages all components of the camera system and sets the sensor’s main operating parameters to optimise the quality of the raw image data entering the image flow processor.
Because of its sensor’s high sensitivity and low noise, the MT9D131 offers superior low-light performance, making it particularly suitable for surveillance applications.
