STMicroelectronics – Relay driver operates from supply voltage up to 45V

STMicroelectronics’ TDE1737 is a monolithic amplifier intended to be used to drive lamps, relays and stepper motors.

The benefits of using the TDE1737 are its tolerance of high currents and high voltages, and its high output-current capability. Current limiting is available to limit the peak output current to a safe value: the adjustment only requires one external resistor. The maximum output current is 1A.

The device will operate from a wide supply-voltage range of 8V to 45V. Thermal shut-down protection keeps the TDE1737 from overheating.

• Adjustable short-circuit protection
• 10mA maximum output leakage current
• 50mV maximum input-offset voltage
