Part of ST’s SLLIMMTM-nano (Small Low-Loss Intelligent Moulded Module) family of Intelligent Power Modules (IPMs), the STIPN1M50T-H consists of six 500V MOSFETs and three half- bridge gate drive circuits. The maximum continuous current through each MOSFET is 1A.
The module also features an uncommitted operational amplifier for current sensing, and a comparator which can be used to design a fast and efficient over- temperature and over-current protection circuit. The device also has an NTC temperature sensor.
The package is optimised for thermal performance: junction-to-case thermal resistance is rated at 13°C/W. Each MOSFET’s maximum power dissipation at a case temperature of 25°C is 9.6W. The operating- temperature range for the module’s casing is -40°C to 125°C.
