Vishay – Thin-film resistors provide stability and reliability in demanding current-measurement applications


Vishay Intertechnology has extended its AEC-Q200 qualified portfolio of professional thin-film MELF resistors, offering the specification of a tighter tolerance at resistance values below 1Ω in devices packaged in 0204 and 0207 case sizes.

Combined with a low temperature coefficient, this means that the improved Vishay MELF resistors provide for more precise current measurement than previous devices while offering high stability and reliability.

Built on an advanced metal-film technology, the MELF resistors offer an extended resistance range down to 0.22Ω. Available in 0102, 0204 and 0207 case sizes, they feature a robust design, intrinsic resistance to sulphur, and excellent stability which exceeds Class 0.25.
