STMicroelectronics – Single op amp combines high speed with low power


The TSB611 single operational amplifier from STMicroelectronics offers system designers the opportunity to benefit from both high speed and low power consumption.

Its gain-bandwidth product is 560kHz, while operating current is just 125μA at the maximum 36V supply voltage. It provides a rail-to-rail output.

The TSB611 operates over a wide temperature range from -40°C to 125°C, which makes it suitable for use in industrial and automotive applications.

Featuring a low maximum input-offset voltage of ±1.6mV, the TSB611 provides stable and linear performance over the entire operating-temperature range. Input offset-voltage drift is a maximum 6μV/°C.

Fabricated in ST’s BiCMOS process, the TSB611 combines the advantages of low noise from the bipolar element of the process and low power consumption with high output current from the CMOS element.

Due to its small package size, the TSB611 can be used in applications in which space on the board is limited. Its five-lead SOT23 package has a footprint of 2.9mm x 2.8mm.
