TE Connectivity – Robust, accurate MEMS tilt sensor suitable for use in harsh and noisy environments


TE Connectivity (TE) supplies the DOG2, a dual-axis MEMS inclinometer for industrial and automotive applications such as platform levelling, dynamic engine management, tip-over protection and tilt warnings.

The DOG2 is notable for its fast response time and good accuracy. A built-in digital signal processor implements correction functions including temperature compensation, and a filter to eliminate the effect of noise sources such as vibrations. It also enables adjustment to optimise the sensor’s performance in specific environments.

The DOG2 sensor has a compact PA6.6 housing and compression limiter bushings for safe installation. It is resistant to oil, grease and fuel, making it suitable for use in engines.
